What is the mode of action (MOA) of ProHeart products?
The unique ProHeart MOA is constantly working to prevent heartworm disease in dogs, and works continuously vs short-term monthly chewables. Slow-dissolving microspheres contain and prolong the effects of moxidectin–which redistributes from plasma to adipose tissue. The adipose tissue acts as a reservoir, allowing efficacy. See ProHeart MOA.
